Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mainframe Developer to join our innovative IT team. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement mainframe applications using languages such as Java and Python while ensuring adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
- Automate deployment processes leveraging DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Manage system administration tasks across multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, and mainframe environments to maintain optimal performance.
- Support IT infrastructure initiatives by integrating cloud services such as AWS and Azure with existing mainframe systems.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan projects, track progress, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to APIs, Oracle databases, operating systems, or network configurations swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Implement security best practices within DevSecOps frameworks to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mainframe development with strong knowledge of system administration across Windows, Linux, and mainframe environments.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices including automating deployment processes using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for infrastructure management and deployment automation.
- Project management experience in technology projects with an understanding of SDLC methodologies like Agile.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python; experience working with APIs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems, Oracle databases, and network configurations.
- Strong technical troubleshooting support skills combined with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Pay: $92,545.97 - $111,453.21 per year
