McCrone is seeking a responsible, motivated, and detail-oriented Land Survey Field Technician to support our engineering, planning, environmental, and construction services projects. We are looking for someone preferably with prior surveying experience performing Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA Surveys and Construction Layout.
Position Requirements:
- The applicant must have the ability to perform fieldwork year-round and be able to perform
rigorous physical tasks
- The applicant will assist in the maintenance and care of Survey Equipment and Crew Vehicle
- The applicant should have skill in and/or willingness to learn the operation of Trimble GPS,
Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and Data Collectors
- The applicant must be willing to learn survey office related tasks such as deed research and
plotting, transferring fieldwork files and processing fieldwork
- The applicant must show willingness to advance and learn new survey skills and techniques
- The applicant must have a valid driver’s license Educational experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Land Surveying or CST certification desired, but not required.
Desired Field Survey Experience: 3-5 years of field survey experience
Desired Office Experience: AutoCAD® 1 year (preferred)
