Overview
Join our team as a Pool Attendant & Watersports Specialist, where you will help create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you will monitor the pool area, assist guests with watersports activities, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with guests, and promoting water safety.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety and enforce pool rules.
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including skimming debris, cleaning filters, and maintaining water quality standards.
- Assist guests with watersports activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding, and other aquatic rentals.
- Respond to emergencies by administering First Aid, CPR, AED, and other emergency response procedures when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify hazards and maintain safety standards.
- Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions, explaining equipment usage, and assisting guests as needed.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining pool and watersports equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with pool maintenance and cleaning procedures preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform water rescues.
- Lifeguard certification or prior lifeguard experience preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A valid Puerto Rico Recreational Boating License (DRNA) is required for the Watersports Specialist position only.

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
