About us:
Our team members understand our vision, contribute to our mission, thrive on hard work and good, honest values. We empower on-site staff to take responsibility and pride in their hotel. Part-time (30 hours/week) position available and will be required to work on Weekends. Starting wage is $15.50.
A day in the life:
- Take care of all uniforms, equipment and supplies issued by the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform tasks assigned by your supervisor including but not limited to repair order requests, preventative maintenance duties, landscaping, pest control, key maintenance and swimming pool and spa maintenance.
- Respond to emergency requests from management, employees or guests to solve maintenance, supply shortage or safety problems whenever necessary.
- Sign and return completed work orders to the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
- Report all guest complaints to the Maintenance Manager.
- Insure that all hotel tools and equipment are taken care of and returned to their proper place each day.
- Must maintaining a safe and accident free working environment.
- Attend all Maintenance Department meetings.
- Help keep all work areas clean.
- Adhere to all rules, regulations and policies of the hotel.
- Notify the Maintenance Manager of any needed supplies.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as may be required.
Skills you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior general maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
- Lift up to 25lbs regularly, lift up to 40lbs frequently.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
- Chemical Pool Operator (Preferred)
- Available to work weekends
