Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience

Nelson Jones is seeking an organized, motivated, and client-focused Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing Personal Injury team.
This position will manage a full pre-litigation caseload while working closely with attorneys to provide exceptional legal representation to injured clients throughout Utah. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys building relationships with clients, and takes pride in helping move cases efficiently from intake through settlement.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full pre-litigation personal injury caseload from intake through settlement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the life of their case.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed and providing exceptional customer service.
- Request, organize, and review medical records, medical billing, police reports, insurance information, wage loss documentation, and other case-related records.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other third parties.
- Prepare settlement demand packages and supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized electronic case files and ensure all case information is current and accurate.
- Track deadlines and proactively move cases toward resolution.
- Coordinate with attorneys regarding case strategy and settlement opportunities.
- Assist with negotiating property damage claims and other pre-litigation matters as directed.
- Draft correspondence and other legal documents as needed.
- Perform additional case management duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of paralegal experience preferred.
- Personal injury experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a personal injury caseload.
- Experience with Filevine or similar case management software.
- Experience preparing settlement demands.
- Familiarity with medical records, medical billing, and insurance claims.
- Knowledge of Utah personal injury procedures and pre-litigation practices.

Work Setting & Schedule
- In-office position located in West Jordan, Utah.
- Monday through Friday.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office required.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
