We are looking for a skilled and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and patient education.
- Take and review dental radiographs as needed.
- Review medical histories, assess oral health conditions, and communicate findings and recommendations with the doctor.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and recommended treatments.
- Build positive relationships with patients by creating a comfortable and personalized experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic dental records.
- Follow all OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of clinical care and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of West Virginia.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred.
