Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Memory Care
At Holly Court Assisted Living and Memory Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents with memory impairments. As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in our Memory Care program, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents and their families.
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care and support to residents with memory impairments, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
Participate in resident care planning and implement strategies to address individual needs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and regulations
Requirements:
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Louisiana
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in long-term care or memory care preferred
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of individuals with memory impairments
