Little Scholars Academy is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher to join our team! If you love helping young children learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences, we'd love to meet you.
Our toddler classrooms serve children ages 1–3 years and focus on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills, and have fun every day.
What You'll Do
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment
- Implement age-appropriate activities, art projects, and learning experiences
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom
- Communicate effectively with families and team members
- Assist children with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, and rest time
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Passionate about working with young children
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Patient, nurturing, and positive
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Able to maintain active supervision and ensure children's safety at all times
Qualifications
- Childcare experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must be able to pass Idaho enhanced fingerprint background check requirements
- Must be willing to complete required Idaho childcare training
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
