Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Engage children in activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking aligned with childhood development milestones.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in ongoing training related to early childhood education techniques.
Qualifications
- Prior experience and/or training working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar educational settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.

- Our Pay is based upon position, education, and experience. The range is as follows: (Assistant Teachers and Support Staff: $12.73 - $13.89, Lead teachers: $14.30 - $14.86) - Are you comfortable with this pay range?
- Would you be able to drive our mini bus to do before and after care? You must be 21 yrs of age with a valid drivers license.
- What position are you most interested in? Infant Lead (available until 5pm) / Infant Assistant (available until 6:30pm) / Closing (6:30pm) Teacher for Tods, Preschool, PreK, or Early Preschool / SA Teacher and Driver (available until 6:30pm)

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Early childhood education: 1 year (Required)
