As our Hospital Manager, you'll work closely with the Medical Director and regional leadership team, taking charge of daily operations and steering our hospital toward ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Financial Leadership: Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and implement hospital policies and procedures.
- Strategic Direction: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and business partnerships.
- Project & Facility Management: Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling, and maintenance while aligning administrative functions with overall hospital objectives.
- Client & Community Engagement: Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, and foster retention and growth.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Schedule, benefits and compensation**:
This is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.
- Compensation: $60,000 - 70,000 annual base salary
- Bi-annual bonus opportunities: Based on hospital performance
- Hiring bonus package: $2000 based on credentials
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 based on credentials

Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years of veterinary leadership, business management, or operations management experience required.
- Veterinary hospital management experience is required
- Previous veterinary experience (e.g., Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or Client Service Representative) required.
- Bachelor's degree, Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience managing budgets, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient with business software and able to adapt quickly to new systems.
