Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Perform pediatric dental cleanings
- Assist the dentist during procedures (chairside assistance)
- Take dental X-rays
- Record patient medical histories and update charts
- Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant certification - Oklahoma
- X-ray certification
- Coronal polishing certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for patient records
