Takumi Stamping is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, managing details, and keeping important processes moving.
The HR Assistant will play an important role in recruiting and welcoming new employees as Takumi expands its direct-hiring efforts. You will gain hands-on experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee communications, HR recordkeeping, events, and general HR administration. For the right person, this position offers a strong foundation for continued growth within Human Resources.
What You’ll Do
- Post job openings, review applications for basic qualifications, communicate with candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities, including background checks, drug screens, new-hire paperwork, orientation materials, and follow-up.
- Prepare routine employment documents and maintain accurate applicant and employee records.
- Assist employees and candidates with routine questions and connect them with the appropriate HR team member when additional help is needed.
- Support new-hire orientation, employee communications, bulletin board postings, policy acknowledgments, and distribution of HR materials.
- Coordinate company shirts, uniforms, employee recognition items, inventory, ordering, and distribution.
- Help organize employee events, recruiting activities, meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, document auditing, and other administrative support.
- Protect the confidentiality of employee, applicant, medical, and compensation inform
- Assist with additional HR projects as opportunities arise.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of administrative, customer service, recruiting coordination, or office support experience; relevant education may substitute for experience.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Professional and helpful communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurate data-entry, proofreading, and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Reliability, adaptability, initiative, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
An associate degree or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Office Administration is helpful but not required. Previous experience supporting HR, recruiting, manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume hiring is also a plus.

Work Environment
This role is performed primarily in a professional office setting with regular interaction throughout the facility. The HR Assistant will occasionally enter manufacturing areas and must be comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and hearing protection. Occasional lifting of files, supplies, shirts, or event materials weighing up to 25 pounds may be required.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
