Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist will:
-
Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs
-
Create and deliver individualized treatment plans
-
Help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function
-
Support patients in regaining independence and quality of life
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct thorough OT evaluations
-
Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans
-
Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
-
Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices
-
Educate on strategies to improve function and safety
-
Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team
-
Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately
-
Stay current with OT best practices and research
Qualifications
-
Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program)
-
Valid state OT license
-
Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome)
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-
Passion for patient-centered care
-
CPR certification preferred
