American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R and CT) certification for a weekend/Monday shift contract in Clyde, NC.

Radiology department at a 154-bed community hospital located in Clyde, NC, approximately 20 miles from Asheville
-
Joint Commission Accredited facility with a Chest Pain Center offering orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health
-
Patient population includes adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patients
-
Caseload of approximately 20–30 patients per tech with two techs on shift
-
Equipment includes GE CT scanner; EMR is Paragon
-
Procedures include CT biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, nerve root blocks, and fluoroscopy on the CT machine
-
MRI float preferred if qualified

Shift schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, and Monday 8:30 AM–9:00 PM

On-call required a couple of nights per week, rotated among techs

Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience

ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and CT required

AHA certifications required

Ability to perform CT-guided procedures including biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, nerve root blocks, or fluoroscopy on CT machine

MRI experience preferred

Perform CT imaging and CT-guided interventional procedures; MRI coverage preferred but not required

Orientation is held bi-weekly

Black scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable

Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
