Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible dental assistant to join our team at our Merrifield location. You'll have work-life balance 35 hours per week. Ideal candidate will have basic computer knowledge with excellent customer service skills, as well as organizational skills. Willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
· Prepare treatment rooms for patient care.
· Assist dental professional using four handed dentistry.
· Sterilize and maintain instrumentation for dental treatment.
· Take radiographic images and digital scans.
· Maintain safe and clean working environment.
· Record patient charting and progress notes as directed.
· Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
Qualifications:
· Dental assisting experience preferred (1-2 years). Willing to train motivated candidates.
· Familiarity with dental software and equipment (Eaglesoft experience preferred).
· X-Ray Certified.
· Team oriented.
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
