Job Overview
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) at Henderson, you’ll provide skilled, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment where every moment counts. You’ll care for patients with a wide range of needs and conditions, using strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork to guide rapid decision-making and safe, effective care.
In this role, you’ll not only deliver direct patient care, but also help coordinate care plans, supervise care delivery, and provide education and support to patients and families during critical and often stressful situations.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess patients and respond quickly to changing conditions using strong clinical judgment
- Supervise and coordinate care delivered by the nursing team
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families to support understanding, recovery, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective treatment
What You Bring
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a compact licensure state
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous Emergency Department experience
