We are looking for a Second Shift Quality Control Inspector Familar with CNC Lathes:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct quality audits to assess adherence to quality assurance procedures
- Identify and document non-conforming products or processes and work with the appropriate teams to address and resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures
Experience:
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with quality control processes, procedures, and tools
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and their use in quality inspections
- Understanding of data collection and analysis techniques for quality control purposes
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations from specifications or standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on objective evidence
