Budtender
We are seeking a knowledgeable, friendly, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis, committed to exceptional customer service, and able to educate customers while ensuring compliance with all state and company regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a welcoming, professional manner.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, vapes, tinctures, and topicals.
- Recommend products based on customer preferences, experience level, and desired effects.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations.
- Process transactions accurately using the dispensary POS system.
- Maintain accurate inventory by stocking, organizing, and labeling products.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Stay informed about new products, strains, terpenes, cannabinoids, and industry trends.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed product knowledge.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Must meet all state requirements to work in a licensed cannabis dispensary.
Preferred Skills:
- Sales experience with the ability to build customer relationships.
- Cash handling and POS experience.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, terpenes, cannabinoids, and consumption methods.
- Inventory management experience.
