Sweat Equity Fitness — Woburn, MA
Part-Time | 8–10 hours/week to start | $45–$50/hour
Sweat Equity Fitness is a small private personal training studio in Woburn, MA, and we’re looking for the right trainer to join our team in a part-time role.
This role would officially begin with client sessions in August, helping cover a portion of one of the owner’s client schedules during maternity leave. Ideally, we would like to start onboarding sooner so the right person has time to get comfortable with our studio, our clients, and how we do things.
This is a good opportunity for a trainer who wants to step into an established studio with real client hours available, without the pressure of immediately taking on a full-time schedule.
To start, the role would be around 8–10 hours per week, working with existing Sweat Equity clients who already train consistently with us.
Most of these clients are women, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable coaching a mostly female client base and who brings a supportive, professional, and encouraging approach.
What the role looks like:
- Client sessions starting in August
- Ideally onboarding before August
- Approximately 8–10 hours per week to start
- Train existing Sweat Equity clients in a private studio setting
- Help cover part of an owner’s schedule during maternity leave
- Work with general population clients focused on strength, fat loss, mobility, injury prevention, and overall fitness
- Potential to retain some clients long-term after the maternity leave coverage period
- Opportunity to grow into more hours over time if it is the right fit
- Additional future growth opportunity with our second location opening in Arlington in fall 2026
We also help you grow:
We don’t expect our trainers to figure everything out on their own. As new leads come through the door, we help guide the process, support the sales side, and make it as simple and seamless as possible for trainers to build their schedule over time.
Pay:
Starting pay is approximately $45–$50 per hour/session, depending on experience and fit.
We may be a good fit if you:
- Are reliable, friendly, and professional
- Enjoy working in a smaller, private studio environment
- Are comfortable coaching a mostly female client base
- Have experience with strength training, functional training, and general population clients
- Can create a welcoming, non-intimidating training experience
- Communicate well and show up prepared
- Are looking for part-time hours now, with the possibility of growing over time
- Like the idea of training clients without having to handle every part of the lead generation and sales process alone
