Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to remove dirt and debris.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using specialized equipment to restore freshness and appearance.
- Buff and polish floors to achieve a high-gloss finish that impresses clients and visitors alike.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents and solutions while adhering to environmental safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of all floor surfaces through routine inspections and timely touch-ups.
- Use janitorial and custodial equipment efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
- Document completed tasks, report any maintenance issues, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on floor care.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, and environmental cleaning practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy equipment or supplies, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and understand client needs.
- Prior experience in environmental services or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
