Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Technician, where you will be the frontline expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment within manufacturing facilities. Your technical prowess and proactive approach will ensure optimal operation of machinery, minimize downtime, and enhance overall plant efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support.
Responsibilities:
Performing standard maintenance, installations/repairs on industrial Xray machines, in shop and at customer locations.
- Maintaining daily customer and team members communications to receive work assignments and update job progress. Completing and submit service reports and billing information as required.
- Travel mostly in the local driving region. However, travel to other states is likely.
- We work with Aerospace and military contracts as well as commercial US Citizenship is a plus
- Prior experiences in a technical field is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and other PC based software and troubleshooting.
- Electrical assembly and troubleshooting of PLC systems.
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and other industrial lifts safely to access hard-to-reach areas during maintenance or repairs.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and asset management activities.
Skills
- Experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems including low and high voltage applications.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience with analysis tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for electrical diagnostics.
- Industrial electrician experience combined with mechanical knowledge enhances troubleshooting capabilities across diverse equipment types.
- Physical ability to operate scissor lifts, perform manual repairs, and work safely in high-7 environments.
