About this job:
Supports data and reporting needs within the District related to student achievement outcomes. Optimizes data usability by developing Published Data databases to be used by Research, Analytics, Assessment & Data (RAAD) analysts to streamline analyses. Frequently write queries to pull data, maintains databases, documents logic for data extraction, and writes reports using a variety of tools. Performs regular data loads, provides technical support to the Assessment Team and develops and executes processes to load both vendor and state-supplied assessment data into department databases.

What You'll Do:
• Develops Published Data databases to be used by department analysts to streamline analyses, including documentation of business rules for these databases
• Develops streamlined processes for state submissions, including preparation for submissions and documentation of business rules for state submissions
• Performs regular data loads to external assessment vendor systems
• Provides technical support to the Assessment Team with rostering, loading data, and more
• Develops and executes processes for loading of vendor and state supplied scores to department Score Repository
• Works with department staff during vendor negotiations to inform contract from technical perspective and needs and works closely with the Database Administrator and Senior Data Specialist
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Social Sciences
- Master's Degree preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in performing similar tasks, including extensive experience working with relational databases and with query and data import/export functionality
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and C#
