THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate will exhibit the qualifications listed below:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license
- Must have at least two years of experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of generator sets and related electrical equipment
- Experience in diesel engines, generators and/or electrical industries is required!

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A GENERATOR TECHNICIAN / DIESEL MECHANIC
Your typical schedule will be 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. As a Generator Technician / Diesel Mechanic, you will travel to clients’ locations to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and related electrical equipment. You will perform load bank testing on generators to ensure units are in the proper operating condition and meet applicable code requirements. You will work with other technicians on larger repair or installation jobs as well as the office staff for scheduling, parts ordering, billing, and estimating.
