Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food processors
- Follow food handling and safety procedures meticulously to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation
- Support meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with menu planning and portion control to minimize waste while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant kitchens
- Familiarity with food safety management and safety standards in production environments
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to meal presentation guidelines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members
- Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of catering processes and serving protocols is advantageous
