We are looking for a passionate educator to lead our toddler classroom and inspire a love of learning from the very start.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Toddler Daycare Teacher who is energetic, patient, and deeply committed to early childhood development. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming classroom environment, implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, and building strong relationships with both children and their families. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of early childhood education and a proven track record of success in a childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Leadership: Design and implement daily activities and lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of toddlers.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment that adheres to all state licensing regulations.
- Child Development: Monitor and document the progress of each child, ensuring developmental milestones are being met and communicated to parents.
- Direct Care: Provide attentive care for toddlers, including meal times, diaper changes/toilet training, and nap schedules.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor assistant teachers to ensure a cohesive and positive classroom atmosphere.
- Safety: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all students at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Teacher must have completed classes in early childhood education.
- Experience: Previous experience in the childcare industry is required.
- Certification: Must hold an Infant Toddler Credential Level 2.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
