About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at High Point Residence Tinley Park. This position supports the Maintenance Department and works closely with the Maintenance Director to ensure our community remains clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents.
Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms as well as maintaining public areas throughout the community. This role is essential in creating a comfortable and positive living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility

Follow all federal, state, and local regulations and facility guidelines

Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Executive Director or Maintenance Director

Support overall facility upkeep to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
Qualifications
-
Previous housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in an independent, assisted, or supportive living setting

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with seniors preferred

Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and vendors

Ability to meet health requirements and pass background checks

Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
