Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrician to join our team and contribute to a wide range of electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and construction environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure safety and compliance on every job site. As an Electrician, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to support our clients’ operational needs. Your expertise will help keep projects on track while adhering to safety standards and electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction settings using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper wiring and safety measures are followed according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Use testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and verify circuit integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.
- Follow all safety protocols on construction sites or renovation projects, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical installations.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools required for installation tasks.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation systems is highly desirable.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety standards.
- Ability to work with low voltage and high voltage wiring safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations governing electrical work in various environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical testing.
- Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are a plus for versatile project support.
- Previous experience with schematics reading and blueprint interpretation essential for accurate installations.

Pay: $27.54 - $33.17 per hour
