Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction and landscaping projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help drive project success, from site preparation to material handling and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and farm machinery with precision and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment such as forklifts and front loader trucks to support various construction activities.
- Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Assist with site preparation tasks such as grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris.
- Use hand tools and hydraulic systems for minor repairs or adjustments as needed during operations.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety checks in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven construction site experience with heavy equipment operation in diverse environments.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving and operating large vehicles such as dump trucks or tanker trucks.
- Hands-on experience operating cranes (including tower cranes), dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and other construction machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, engine systems, and general equipment maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance tasks and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulation compliance related to heavy machinery operation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments on-site.
- Experience working with Caterpillar or similar brands of construction machinery is preferred.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
