Red Oak is hiring NON-CDL, Class C or greater Drivers (trailer pulling experience highly preferred) for our Gainesville, GA location.

Red Oak offers 50% credit for sanitation drivers coming from other sanitation companies with time in towards their being vested with Red Oak after 90 days. For instance, if you’ve spent 10 years with another sanitation company and desire to join Red Oak, you will start with 5 years vested in Red Oak!
Red Oak is hiring NON-CDL, Class C or greater Residential Sanitation Cart Delivery and Removal Drivers. The best candidates will be detailed oriented, wanting to come to work every day and are willing to learn.
POSITION SUMMARY: Valid Class C Driver’s Licensed driver the ability to obtain a D.O.T Medical Card. Drivers are responsible for safely operating a truck with a small trailer, and providing professional, prompt, and courteous service.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports of the vehicle you operate in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local law as well as Company policy. This requires that you check things like tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and see that controls are in proper working order.
- Safely operate light to medium duty truck and trailer along a designated route, manage and read a route sheet/GPS app, follow maps and service each customer as identified by routing instructions or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor at any time.
- Operate truck body controls that are manual and/or automatic in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift, load and unload containers (carts/bins)
- Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers, and others daily to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete the daily assigned routes before returning to the yard.
- Be mentally and physically able to perform all job duties.
- Deliver, repair and/or remove waste containers
- Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is always operationally ready and safe.
- Complete required route sheets, vehicle inspection reports and other reports, as required.
- Maintain adherence to the required productivity standards to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures
- Actively participate in the Company’s Safety and Procedural programs.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Exhibit proper customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Act in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and management.
- Act with honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
- Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
- Good follow-through ability: adhere to work schedule/s and follow through on challenges as they arise.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid and "clean" driver’s license and MVR
- Ability to pull and back an empty or, loaded trailer.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Class C Driver’s License
- Current DOT physical
- Own an internet connected smart device ie. smartphone or tablet.
- A drive to learn and succeed!
