We are the only interventional pain management practice in Pine Bluff, AR, and we take great pride in serving this community. We are looking for candidates who share our philosophy of delivering patient care in an atmosphere of respect and compassion.
Candidates with previous work experience in a medical office will be given preference. Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but we will consider candidates with equivalent experience.
Pay scale: Will be reflective of previous experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Greeting patients; check in, verify patient demographic / insurance information at each visit.
- schedule appointments; recheck next day appointments and prepare patient folders for next day
- Proficiency at using electronic medical records, entering patient medical history
- assist with office procedures and run autoclave in timely manner
- attaching patient documents to their charts, filing, obtaining patient notes/ radiology etc from other medical offices.
- obtain preauthororization from insurance for procedures
- note patient billing complaints and if possible resolve minor complaints
- maintain and stocking of office inventory.
- maintaining cleanliness in office
- assist other co-workers as and when needed
- assist with other duties as may arise in office
