Sterling Pointe Apartments is looking for a full-time Apartment Turn Technician to join our team.
This position is focused on preparing vacant apartments for new residents and ensuring every home meets our standards before move-in. We’re looking for someone who works efficiently, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in leaving behind a finished product that looks great.
Strong painting experience is important for this position. We need someone who is comfortable painting apartments and completing the detailed maintenance work required during the turn process.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins
- Paint apartment interiors, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other areas as needed
- Complete drywall patching, repairs, texturing, and paint preparation
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacements
- Complete minor electrical repairs, including switches, outlets, and light fixtures
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances
- Replace or repair blinds, doors, hardware, baseboards, fixtures, and other apartment components
- Complete flooring and other minor repairs as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance within vacant apartments
- Complete final touch-ups and detail work to ensure apartments are fully move-in ready
- Assist the maintenance team with property projects and repairs as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong painting experience
- Experience preparing and painting apartment interiors or similar residential spaces
- Previous apartment maintenance or turn experience preferred
- Drywall repair, patching, and texturing experience
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
- Appliance repair experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and expand your maintenance skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $43,680 annual compensation
- Full-time, 40-hour work week
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
