We are currently seeking an experienced CDL Flatbed Truck Driver with Moffett / Donkey forklift experience to join our team for a dedicated local route. This is a home-daily position — no overnights or long hauls.
You will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed straight truck with a Moffett attached, delivering building materials to local customers and job sites. Candidates must be proficient in loading and unloading material using a Moffett and understand proper securing techniques to ensure safe transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a flatbed straight truck with Moffett forklift attached
- Load and unload materials using a Moffett forklift (rear-mounted)
- Deliver materials to customer locations and job sites in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all loads are properly secured according to DOT and company regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues immediately
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Class B or A) license
- Clean driving record — No accidents or violations
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Moffett forklift
- Experience with flatbed trucking and securing loads
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs (rarlely needed)
- Familiarity with local routes is a plus
