Position Title: Warehouse Assembler
Pay Range: $23/hour
Schedule: M-F, 7am-3:30pm
Position Type: Temp to Hire
We are looking for a shop worker to participate in our warehouse/shop operations and activities. Shop worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and assembling products such as underground water pumps. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Precisely assemble units or parts using hand tools and light power tools and equipment, completing work in a timely manner.
- Fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product operating requirements.
- Repair units, structures and products that fail to meet requirements and standards.
- Pulling, sorting, and accounting for parts in outbound shipments when applicable.
- Perform testing of assembled units and implement QA and QC standards.
- Observe all safety rules and practices.
- Organize work area and maintain its cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a warehouse/shop worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High school degree
