We are a contractor specializing in high-end residential remodels and new builds.
We are currently seeking a Carpenter to join our team.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the following:
· Able to identify and complete work in a timely fashion.
· Safely operate all tools, including, but not limited to, joiners, shapers, band saws, skill saws, routers, planers, table saws, nail guns, and drills.
· Build walls, partitions, stairs, ramps, landings and decks, cabinets, shelves, etc.
· Layout, cut, drill, miter, sand and otherwise prepare materials, and to use said materials in the fabrication of various end products, including, but not limited to, lumber, plywood, particle board.
· Hang and trim windows, doors, cabinets.
· Erect framework for structures and lay subflooring.
· Build stairs and lay out and install partitions and cabinet work.
· Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
· Helps maintain a clean work area free of hazards.
· Report problem areas and safety hazards.
· Performs other related jobs and duties as assigned.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and dependability. We need you to be detail-oriented and be able to provide an excellent finished product. You will need the ability to work well in a team environment and follow the instructions from your supervisor. Reliable transportation to the office in Stuart is required, and we require a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to drive our company vehicles. Background checks are performed and DMV driving records are required.
