We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Carpenter to join our team, specializing in bespoke interior commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in rough and finish carpentry, and demonstrate a meticulous approach to their craft.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry, including custom millwork, wood framing, metal stud framing, drywall, cabinetry, trim, and fixture installation.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, quality standards, and building codes.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, other trades, and clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Carpenter.
- Possession of a valid and up to date 40 Hour Site Safety Training (SST) card.
- Comprehensive knowledge and adherence to all New York City building codes and regulations.
- Proven ability to execute high-quality, precise craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
