The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations. This role ensures top-notch guest service, effective staff management, and adherence to brand standards.
1. Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
2. Supervise, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
3. Assist in scheduling staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
4. Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are consistently met.
5. Assist in managing financial performance, including monitoring costs, labor, and profitability.
6. Help execute marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.
7. Handle customer complaints and ensure a positive guest experience.
8. Assist in inventory management, ensuring supplies and stock are properly ordered and tracked.
9. Support the General Manager in hiring, disciplinary actions, and overall team performance evaluations.

Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
