Job Description:
This position leads the dual responsibility of running the day-to-day administrative operations of the Catering office as well as the responsibility of selling catering offerings. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position within the Catering department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Communication:

Answer emails in a professional manner.

Direct calls to correct personnel and/or departments.

File emails after responding in appropriate folders. Direct emails which need extra attention, to correct manager or Operations manager.

Coordinate all orders and events using Google calendar for availability.

Communicate with Chefs about food item availability daily for all locations.

Communicate with Operations Manager on logistics for deliveries and full services for staffing schedule.

Faxing/emailing all order sheets daily to corresponding restaurant managers including follow up and confirmation.

Implementing proper procedures for FOH staff directing orders for “To-Go” and “Catering” calls from restaurants.
Administration & Billing:

Proper entering of all orders for events, pickups, or deliveries.

Daily processing of billing and sending receipts for all pickup and delivery weekly events (excluding full-service, happy hour events, and vending events).

Implement all aspects of refunds and sending receipts for all events in Caterease and H Pay for all restaurant locations.

Maintaining the events awaiting payment spreadsheet and communicating weekly payment reports to the accounting department.

Add all loyalty points that apply for events in Toast.

Properly schedule all Charleston hourly catering staff based on events (on and offsite) as well as deliveries.

Assist new hires with onboarding and training through company hiring processes.

Coordinate maintenance logistics for all South Carolina company vans.
Other duties as needed or assigned based on the needs of the business
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

3 – 5 years in office administrative work, required.

Strong organizational, time management, and team motivation skills are essential.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with customers, management, and Home Team staff.
