Payroll Specialist
Location: Tigard, OR - Hybrid flexibility
Salary: $56,000 - $62,400
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage semi-monthly payroll processing. This is an opportunity to join a cohesive payroll team and make a true impact in the department. Responsibilities Include:

Auditing and verifying employee time and labor data, resolving discrepancies with supervisors.

Processing multi-state payroll for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employees.

Ensuring accurate calculation and processing of all taxes, benefits, and deductions, including garnishments.

Assisting with payroll account balancing and resolving discrepancies.

Responding to employee payroll inquiries.

Managing garnishment processes and communication.

Maintaining payroll system compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including setting up new tax accounts and managing filings.

Managing payroll details and reporting for assigned divisions.

Generating payroll reports and processing employment verifications.

Researching and resolving payroll tax issues with government agencies.
Qualifications:

2+ years of payroll processing experience.

Experience with multi-state payroll, garnishments, and automated timesheets preferred.

Experience with payroll HCM software - Ceridian/Dayforce or Workday is a plus.

Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
