In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of commercial kitchen environments through high-powered pressure washing and thorough hood cleaning. Your efforts will ensure compliance with health and safety standards, enhance the appearance of commercial spaces, and support our clients’ operational efficiency. Duties
- Operate pressure washing equipment to remove grease, grime, and buildup from kitchen hoods, ducts, and surrounding surfaces
- Use hand tools and specialized cleaning equipment to access hard-to-reach areas safely and effectively
- Follow strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and respirators
- Conduct manual handling of heavy cleaning equipment and materials with proper technique to prevent injury
- Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Use fire extinguishers and other safety tools as needed during cleaning operations or emergency situations
- Complete detailed service reports, log cleaning activities, and communicate effectively with clients about work performed
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred, especially with pressure washing or duct cleaning tasks
- Familiarity with the use of ladders for accessing elevated areas safely is essential
- Hands-on experience with cleaning equipment, hand tools, and outdoor work is highly valued
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial cleaning, heavy lifting, manual handling, and fire safety protocols
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and clear communication during service visits
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines while performing high-pressure cleaning tasks in busy commercial settings
