Job Summary

Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high-quality service.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and motivation to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Oversee inventory control and food management processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with catering and banquet teams for event setups, menu planning, and timely execution of large-scale food service.
- Monitor food costs and implement cost control measures to optimize budget efficiency without compromising quality.
- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen area and ensure proper handling of food products at all times.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality setting
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, cost management, and kitchen operations efficiently.
- Leadership skills with experience managing teams as a chef or kitchen supervisor in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Familiarity with menu planning, shift management, catering coordination, and restaurant management practices.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality and customer service excellence.

Pay: $19.50 - $24.50 per hour
