Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Pharmacist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care and will be required to work a fixed schedule across our two locations in Yonkers and Queens. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the safe and effective use of medications, provide professional advice to patients, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide counseling and medication therapy management services to patients.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Monitor and assess patient prescriptions for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
- Offer expert guidance to healthcare teams, ensuring the best care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical guidelines and treatments.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and pharmacy laws.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid pharmacist license in New York.
- Experience in a retail pharmacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work across two locations (Monday-Thursday in Queens and Fridays in Yonkers)
