Job Summary
Solves organizational problems for clients and executes organizing procedures while guiding clients through the day-to-day challenges of the organizing process. Builds and promotes the Abundance Organizing brand through professional networking, relationship-building, and participation in industry organizations. Supports company growth by soliciting client reviews, testimonials, and referrals, while meeting or exceeding individual metrics. Completes project closeout responsibilities, maintains accurate CRM documentation, contributes positively to the team environment, complies with company policies, and pursues ongoing professional development and training.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Leads and manages on-site workflow by balancing team coordination, client communication, and project execution simultaneously.
- Takes ownership of overall project outcomes on-site, ensuring the team, client experience, and project goals remain aligned and moving forward throughout the session.
- Establishes clear goals, timelines, and expectations for team members and delegates responsibilities effectively to maximize productivity and project success.
- Provides ongoing communication, direction, troubleshooting, and performance feedback to team members throughout the session.
- Manages client relationships on-site with professionalism, adaptability, and emotional intelligence, guiding clients through challenges and decision-making during the organizing process.
- Anticipates project needs, potential obstacles, and client concerns through thorough preparation, including reviewing notes, photos, project details, and asking clarifying questions in advance of the session.
- Ensures all team members are informed, prepared, and equipped with the necessary information to successfully execute the project.
- Demonstrates leadership strengths through individual communication style, project management abilities, client engagement skills, and team support while continuing to develop leadership capabilities and organizing expertise.
- Collaborates with supervisors and leadership for guidance, escalation support, and continued professional development in leadership, communication, and project management skills.Identifies personal strengths and opportunities for growth in leadership, delegation, client management, and project execution, and actively pursues ongoing skill development and training.
- Solicits client reviews, testimonials, and referrals following sessions they lead, helping to strengthen client relationships, support company growth, and generate future business opportunities.
- Closes out the job as assigned (entering applicable time charges, reimbursable expenses, completes CRM session log form) and delivers any/all client payments to Abundance Organizing headquarters within 5 business days.
- Maintains all client communication through the designated CRM phone number to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of client service. Ensures all client communication occurs through assigned CRM phone number.
- Performs any other tasks required by the supervisor.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Drives sales performance for Abundance Organizing through professional and personal networking, building relationships that generate industry/trade and client referrals. Tracks client retention and rebooking performance indicators, including repeat sessions, referral activity, and ongoing client engagement.
- Participates in professional organizations to maintain current information about this position and to make contact with professionals in similar positions.
- Pursues/receives training in organizing methodology and related theory, both inside and outside the company, at the company’s request, as relevant.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in discipline such as business, psychology, communication, education, or equivalent work experience.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills, orientation to detail and detailed work; very good interpersonal skills, customer service aptitude; clear and concise speaking and communications ability, good writing skills, basic computer literacy; ability to manage projects according to budget, schedule, and requirements; ability to work independently; arithmetic and numerical reasoning skills; responsible for money-handling. Must meet physical requirements of job; able to life and carry 0-35 pounds.
Experience
- Minimum of 90 days on-the-job experience in residential or business organizing; must have strong working knowledge of Abundance Organizing methods of organizing, initial consultation practices, and client care and retention strategies.
- Attributes preferred: Ability to plan/organize/direct/control; ability to deal with ambiguous/conflicting priorities or information; ability to influence people; verbal comprehension, problem solving, aesthetic judgment
On-the-job-training
- Pursuing trade-related certification through BCPO, ICD, NASMM, COC, ASID, or IRIS; continued training in Abundance Organizing methods of organizing and client care and retention strategies. Pay: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
