Bartender — Position Description
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, delivering excellent guest experiences, and contributing to the development of new drink ideas and seasonal menu items.
The ideal candidate has prior bartending experience, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys experimenting with flavors and presentation to elevate the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and accurately
- Develop and contribute ideas for new cocktails, seasonal drinks, and specials
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate POS system and handle transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards at the bar
- Manage inventory, restocking, and proper storage of ingredients
- Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and legal requirements
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with team members during peak hours
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred (required or strongly preferred depending on your needs)
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
