We are looking for a Senior Project Manager- Low Voltage and Technology to work in Austin, TX who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. In this role, you’ll be responsible for Project building adherence requirements to meet customer Information Technology standards. You’ll bring your expertise to provide construction technology solutions, ensuring the success of our projects for our client.
Primary Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Provide solutions to manage project requirements to meet schedules for Low Voltage requirements.
- Negotiate with multiple client departments providing solutions and compromise while achieving the project’s cost and schedule.
- Interface with customers for network connection solutions involving Security / Cameras / Wireless access points /Communication Rooms / Network Switches / Audio Visual Systems / Real-time Location Systems.
- Provide scope definition for multiple vendor supplied equipment such as Cellular-RF amplifier radio systems / Business Automation Systems / various Clinical systems.
- Become familiar with Owner’s Design requirements and defend their implementation overseeing vendors &/or General Contractors.
- Manage cost effective solutions honoring their prudent use without over designing.
- Follow the customer’s policies and not deviate from their processes.
- Managing the quality control inspections and the documentation requirements.
- Proactive team player partnering with groups to solve problems.
- Ability to draw on Subject Matter Experts for advice.
- Lead low voltage and Technology solutions for client project activation activities.
- Manage site fiber optic backbones and multi-mode/single-mode distribution.
- Oversee copper infrastructure (Cat6/Cat6A) pathways, terminations, and testing.
- Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, and healthcare codes.
- Coordinate requirements for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material deliveries to patient rooms.
- Coordinate IT network paths for seamless robot navigation and Wi-Fi handoffs.
- Lead a process for vendor testing of fleet management software and elevator integration for robotics.
- Track project milestones, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Run coordination meetings with general contractors and hospital staff.
