Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences and industry trends
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences in a timely manner
- Uphold food safety standards during meal preparation, cooking, and serving processes
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and fine dining service environments
- Excellent food handling practices with an emphasis on safety and sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve customers professionally
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per day
