General Summary:
The Program Assistant supports Donor Relations and Agency Relations staff in tracking, researching, engagement, reporting as well as updating and developing manuals, forms, educational, training and marketing materials for partners within those areas.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Tracking
- Pounds secured and/or received
- Service Area Coverage
- Timeframe Availability
- Statistical Information
- Setup monitoring visits for Donor and Agency Relation Staff
Researching
- New Partners
- Existing partner capabilities
- Client needs (Pantry access, Food Preference, etc.)
- Food Drive Opportunities
- Networking Opportunities
Engagement
- Maintaining updated contact information
- Setting up meetings and tours for Donor and Agency Relation Staff
- Assist with Website and Social Media engagement
Reporting -Collect and input information for reports to;
- Donor and Agency Relations staff
- President & CEO
- Ohio Association of Foodbanks
- Feeding America
- Other outside entities as directed
Other
- Updating and developing manuals, forms, educational, training and marketing materials
- Establish and meet strategic goals set forth by the President/CEO
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- · Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, social work, public administration, public health)
- · Ability to set and meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- · Outstanding written, verbal, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- · Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills
- · Graphic design experience
- · Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food distribution is a plus.
- · Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- · Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- · Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
