Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills. This role involves ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment and systems, performing repairs, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our operations through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of properties to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including, locks, door repairs, painting, light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing high voltage systems as needed.
- Commuting to various commercial properties in the Denver metro area.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Experience working with tenants is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of making ready apartment units
- Experience with filling nail holes, painting, trim work, drywall, flooring repairs, cabinets, light fixtures, basic plumbing, general carpentry
- Knowledge of major appliances, including HVAC
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical when no license is required
- Good verbal, written, and communication skills a must.
- Well organized, detail oriented with ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be team oriented but able to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Basic computer, smart phone, and Internet knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience required
- Proven experience in maintenance roles preferably in community management maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical repairs.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to multiple properties with own vehicle in the Denver metro area.
- Own a basic set of hand and power tools
- Must be available for on call emergency, rotation every 3 weeks, Sunday-Sunday
- Preferred ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds' variable distances
- Ability to drive to property sites in Denver and walk through the entire property

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
