- Sterilize and set up instruments and trays according to OSHA and infection‑control protocols.
- Document notes accurately in the practice management software and help manage patient flow.
- Communicate clearly with parents and patients about procedures, home care, and follow‑up instructions.
What we’re looking for
- 1–6 years recent experience as a Dental Assistant in a pediatric and/or orthodontic practice (or strong DA experience with true passion for kids and ortho).
- Current X‑ray and CPR certification (or ability to obtain quickly, per Colorado requirements).
- Comfortable working with children of all ages, using positive, age‑appropriate communication.
- Team‑oriented, dependable, and coachable; able to take feedback and learn new clinical systems.
- Strong attention to detail, infection‑control, and documentation.
Growth and benefits
- Clear pathway to grow your clinical skills (advanced ortho procedures, expanded duties as allowed) and take on lead or trainer responsibilities over time.
- Competitive pay (add your range here to boost Indeed visibility), paid time off, and typical dental/medical benefits as offered by the practice.
- Stable schedule with a supportive doctor and assistant team that wants you to succeed long‑term.
