We are seeking an experienced CDL Truck Driver for regional hauling and material pickups. This position includes out-of-state trips to California for plant and tree pickups, Arizona for flagstone and pavers, and occasional fiberglass pool pickups (a few times per year).
The primary responsibility of this role is rock hauling, transporting materials to and from El Paso, TX, and throughout Southern New Mexico, including Las Cruces, Deming, Truth or Consequences, and Alamogordo.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns; perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Plan driving routes and meet scheduled delivery times.
- Accurately document and log driving hours, rest periods, and mileage; maintain fuel and toll receipts.
- Follow all federal, state, and local truck driving regulations (size, weight limits, routes, parking, and break periods), as well as company policies.
- Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
- Collect, confirm, and follow delivery instructions.
- Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.

Qualifications & Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
- Experience using electronic driving equipment and systems (GPS, AVL units, CB radios, etc.).
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly when needed.
- Strong knowledge of trucking rules, regulations, and safety standards.
- Clean driving record with no recent moving or driving violations.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions such as traffic, weather, and route adjustments.
