Cup O' Jo is looking for a friendly, reliable barista to join our busy coffee shop team. We're seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing great customer service.
This is a very part-time position, averaging 10–20 hours per week. Availability for evening shifts and both Saturdays and Sundays is required.
No barista experience is necessary—we provide paid training.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Take customer orders and operate the register
- Prepare coffee drinks and food items during busy periods
- Wash dishes and maintain organized dish areas
- Keep the café clean and stocked throughout the day
- Complete end-of-shift cleaning tasks, including mopping and equipment cleaning
- Multitask effectively during busy rushes
- Work collaboratively with a small team
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required
Pay: $16.00 per hour
